Resurrection and eternal life are the themes of this Gaither Homecoming. Easter-time special taped at sites around the Holy Land. From a boat on the Sea of Galilee to the Garden of Gethsemane, the life of Jesus Christ is celebrated in songs such as "The Mighty One of Israel," (Bekki Smith), "Bethlehem, Galilee" (Russ Taff) and "Can't Stop Talkin' About Him" (Gaither Vocal Band) and "Peace Be Still."

The promise of the resurrection is heralded in "Jerusalem" (The Hoppers) and "Resurrection" (Guy Penrod), but it is Larnelle Harris' awe-inspired "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked" which gives the travelogue-in-song its meaning. Charlotte Ritchie's "Next Time We Meet," with David's city at night as her stage, has as it's underpinning, the traditional Jewish salutation, "Next year in Jerusalem," an appropriate punctuation for a special that pays homage to the spiritual mecca of people of faith the world over.
